All listings last for thirty (30) days. Every ten (10) days an Item Confirmation will be e-mailed to the seller, asking if the seller still has possession of the item and desires to sell the item on the ShankMeister marketplace. If a Seller does not respond to the Item Confirmation within 48 hours of receipt, ShankMeister will place the listing in an inactive status until the Seller responds to the Item Confirmation. ShankMeister does this to insure all inventory represented in the marketplace is available to Buyers.

HOW TO DETERMINE A LISTING PRICE

When available, ShankMeister provides the Seller a suggested listing price whether that price be the MSRP, a new item price or a used price. These suggested prices are only meant to assist the Seller and not in any way guarantee a selling price for the item. When setting the selling price, the Seller needs to consider the wear and tear of the item, how many identical items are in the ShankMeister inventory already for sale and how fast the Seller wants to receive his profit.

HOW TO SELECT THE LISTING DESCRIPTION

When a Seller lists a used or new golf item in the ShankMeister marketplace for sale, that Seller will be making a good faith and factual representation to all potential Buyers that:

1.     The ShankMeister description that the Seller selects matches in reality to the new or used item that is intended to be sold.

2.     The picture uploaded by the Seller is a factual representation of the item that the Seller intends to sell in the ShankMeister marketplace.

3.     The  item being sold must truthfully be represented as one of the following:

a.     New and still in the package. An item only qualifies as new and still in the package if the items exists in its original packaging and has never been used.  

b.    New. An item qualifies as new if it is no longer in its original package but the item has never been used.

c.     Used. An item is used if it does not qualify as new and still in the package (No. a) or new (No. b). A used item can be described as “lightly worn,” “medium worn,” or “heavy worn.”

ShankMeister also provides a description box where the Seller can volunteer any comments that a Buyer may find useful in determining whether the sale is right for them. All descriptions must be related to the description of the item being sold in the ShankMeister marketplace.

HOW TO MAKE THE SALE FASTER

There are two great ways to promote the sale of your item in the ShankMeister marketplace.

a.     For a small fee, a Seller an upload more than one pictures. This is a great way to show off to potential Buyers that you have a great item for sale.

b.    For a small fee, you can display your item as a “Featured Item.” All featured items are guaranteed exposure to potential Buyers visiting the sight.

c.     Advertise your item as “See it Pay it” – when a Buyer sees your item, See it Pay it advertising adds simplicity, convenience and solid representation. A Buyer sees the price and pays that price! There will be no hidden shipping costs, no hidden processing fees so that the price the buyer sees is the price the Buyer pays.
